World Radio Day 2026

World Radio Day is celebrated to show the unique power of radio and how it touches lives and brings people together across every corner of the globe. 

RED FM is celebrating World Radio Day by giving you a chance to co-host a RED FM show on Friday, February 13th, 2026  

Watch in person how a RED FM talk show or music show host does their show live in the RED FM Studio 

How to enter:

Record and WhatsApp us a video or audio clip (max 1 minute in length) to 403-680-1126 of why you love radio and why you should be chosen to co-host a RED FM show

4 RED FM listeners will be chosen to co-host based on the following criteria: 

• Quality of Voice
• Creativity
• Delivery tone

Co-host will receive:

• An audio copy of the show
• Framed Picture of you co-hosting with host 
• RED FM Swag Bag 

Complete Contest Rules and Regulations:

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
2. Contest is open to all persons residing in Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18) with a Canadian Government Issued Photo ID
3. Entries for the World Radio Day contest will be taken until the Feb.11th 2026
4. Entries will ONLY be taken through WhatsApp to 403-680-1126 until 11:59pm PST.
5. Entries will be accepted in Punjabi and Hindi only
6. Chosen contestant must be available on Friday, Feb.13th, to co-host whichever show they will be chosen for in the studio.
7. RED FM reserves the right to use contestants’ names, images and recorded media in any format for our own purposes indefinitely.
8. RED FM is not responsible for any technical problems incurred during the course of the contest by the contestant, Red FM, sponsors or any participants.
9. Contest rules may be subject to change at any time, exclusively by Red FM
