Calgary police are appealing to the public for information regarding a hit-and-run collision that injured a pedestrian in November 2025.
The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, when a 50-year-old woman was struck while crossing at a marked crosswalk at Centre Street and Eighth Avenue N.W. A light-coloured sedan, believed to be a white Toyota Camry or Corolla with possible front-end damage, struck the woman and continued northbound on Centre Street without stopping.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is still in recovery.
Police say all investigative avenues to identify the vehicle and driver have been exhausted, prompting a public appeal for assistance.
Anyone with information is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Authorities urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has details about the suspect vehicle to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.
