A 68-year-old Calgary man is facing voyeurism charges after allegedly filming multiple women without their knowledge or consent.
Police say that since 2016, the accused offered short-term lodging to women he met through his role at a local church. Investigators allege he used several devices to secretly record them while they stayed at his home.
On March 4, officers searched a residence on Westwood Drive S.W. and seized multiple electronic devices. Police say they contained 1,500 photos and 19 videos “of an intimate nature.”
At least three victims have been identified so far.
Brad Dewar is charged with three counts of voyeurism and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 22.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
