Calgary police say a drug trafficking investigation in the city’s southwest has led to multiple charges and the seizure of drugs and cash worth about $74,000.

The investigation began in August 2025, focusing on a woman suspected of trafficking drugs. On October 17, officers executed a search warrant at a home on 23 Avenue near 1 Street SW.

During the search, police seized:

  • 465.4 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 83.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine
  • 46.6 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 42.1 grams of suspected heroin
  • $4,600 in cash

A man at the home was also arrested. Police say he was wanted on 14 outstanding warrants, including a Canada-wide immigration warrant.

As a result, 34-year-old Michelle Ellen Binning has been charged with four counts of possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Daniel Issaias Solis-Poot, 26, faces one count of obstructing a peace officer and one count of breaching a release order.
