Negotiations between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are back on track after a brief delay.
Talks, originally set for Friday, were postponed after Canada Post requested more time to review the union’s proposals.
A spokesperson for the Crown corporation confirmed that Canada Post remains committed to the collective bargaining process and is actively working with CUPW through federal mediators to reach a deal.
The company says it has requested additional details from the union to support ongoing discussions.
CUPW, which announced the delay last week, said the two sides are scheduled to meet today.
