Confronting the Threats: Calgary Townhall to Address Extortion, Violence and Foreign Interference

A community townhall titled “Confronting the Threats: Indian Transnational Repression” is set for Dec. 13 in Calgary, running from 12 to 3 p.m., with organizers urging residents to attend.

The event will focus on growing concerns around extortions, homicides, arsons, and shootings affecting local communities, alongside allegations of Indian interference in Sikh affairs.

Appearing on Red FM, Jaskaran Sandhu of the World Sikh Organization said the session aims to provide clarity on security threats and foreign influence impacting diaspora communities. They emphasized that the town hall is an open invitation for the public to learn, ask questions, and share their experiences.
