Today BC government released a framework for how BC renters will repay the unpaid rent during the COVID-19 pandemic to landlords.
The eviction freeze will be lifted on September 1 and tenants will have to pay full rent for September.
The tenants, who owe rent to their landlords, have until next summer to pay the unpaid rent back gradually to their landlords
