Strikes continued to escalate across the Middle East on Tuesday, marking the fourth consecutive day of conflict following Israel and U.S. military operations targeting Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump said the conflict could last four to five weeks, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the war would not be “endless.” Meanwhile, the International Red Crescent Society reported that at least 787 people in Iran have been killed in ongoing airstrikes. The U.S. military confirmed six American troops have died.

Hezbollah officials have vowed to engage in “open war” with Israel, as hostilities between Israel and Iran-backed forces in Lebanon intensify. Israeli military sources reported airstrikes struck Iran’s presidential office.

Overnight, explosions shook Tehran as Iran and its allies retaliated with missiles and drones targeting Israeli positions and strategic locations in neighbouring Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia’s U.S. Embassy and key oil facilities.

European nations have responded by deploying warships and jets to Cyprus amid fears of a broader regional escalation. Analysts warn that with no clear diplomatic resolution in sight, the conflict could drag on, threatening to embroil the entire Middle East in prolonged violence.
