A man has been seriously injured following an explosion at an industrial site in southeast Calgary.
Emergency crews responded to the incident around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at a workplace near 107 Avenue and 68 Street SE after reports of an explosion.
According to Calgary police, a pressurized tank exploded at the location, injuring one individual.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was rushed to hospital with what officials described as life-altering injuries.
Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the explosion, and the investigation remains ongoing.
