With just over a month until Calgary’s municipal election, a new poll from Leger shows that 46% of voters remain undecided on who they’ll choose as the city’s next mayor.

That number is slightly up from 45% in Leger’s previous poll conducted at the end of August.

The latest poll, conducted between September 5 and 8 with 442 adult Calgarians, shows former city councillor Jeromy Farkas leading with 14% support, narrowly ahead of incumbent mayor Jyoti Gondek, who has 13%.

Sonya Sharp follows with 7%, Jeff Davison at 5%, and Brian Thiessen at 3%. Newcomers Jeffery Clauson and Jaegar Gustafson, both recently added to the candidate list, polled at 1% each, as did the ‘someone else’ option. Grant Prior, another new addition, received less than 1% support.

In addition, 9% of respondents said they do not plan to vote. Calgarians are set to cast their votes on October 20.
