Prime Minister Mark Carney and the G7 leaders gather in the Opal Room for the first working session of the 2025 G7 Summit. Carney opens the working session by welcoming everyone to his home province of Alberta and recognizing that they are on treaty 7 lands. He goes over the history of the G7 and states that the world today has never been more divided. Statements are delivered in both English and French.
