Two men are in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries following a targeted shooting in Calgary’s northeast early Friday morning.
Police say officers were called to Tarawood Grove NE around 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire.
When they arrived, they found two men inside a vehicle who had been shot while parked on the street. Both victims were rushed to hospital.
No arrests have been made, but investigators believe the suspects fled in a dark, newer-model pickup truck. Police say the shooting appears to have been targeted and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
The investigation remains in its early stages, and no further details are being released at this time.
