Police seek public’s help to locate vehicle linked to Tesla arson in Calgary

Calgary police are asking the public for assistance in locating a vehicle connected to an arson that occurred last month.

At approximately 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, officers responded to reports of a Tesla SUV on fire in the 5300 block of Temple Drive N.E. Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set by two individuals.

The suspects are believed to have been driving a white, four-door Kia Forte, model years 2014–2018, notable for its distinct black hubcaps. CCTV images of the vehicle are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

Police are urging anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the incident to come forward. They can be reached at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through their website or by phone.
