
Alberta’s Minister of Primary and Preventative Health Services, Adriana LaGrange, joined host Rishi Nagar to discuss the province’s health system reforms.
LaGrange outlined plans to improve access to family doctors by 2026, saying her ministry will track clear metrics to measure progress in primary care.
She addressed accountability concerns following the health portfolio split and highlighted prevention initiatives aimed at easing pressure on emergency rooms. LaGrange also detailed targeted steps for rural communities and defended the reforms as focused on frontline care improvements.
