Save money on banking services

New guidance from the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada highlights the availability of low-cost and no-cost bank accounts for Canadians. These accounts, costing $4 per month or free for many, offer more debit transactions and basic banking services without the fees that many households currently pay. Eligible groups for no-cost accounts include students, youth, newcomers in their first year, some seniors, people receiving social assistance, and individuals with a Disability Tax Credit. Mark Kalinowski, Corporate & Community Relations Manager at The Credit Counselling Society joins host Rishi Nagar to share some tips to save money on banking.
